Biography

Shawn Butler is an Electrical Engineering Technician for the Indian Head Utilities Division under NAVFAC Washington, South Potomac. He currently serves as the site Subject Matter Expert and Contract Representative, directing the electrical utility privatization project, overseeing the transition of NSA SP Indian Head Division’s power distribution system over to SMECO. A veteran High Voltage Lineman, Shawn brings over 24 years of hands-on field experience to the NAVFAC Utilities Team. His transition from executing complex line maintenance to overseeing a major government privatization contract ensures a seamless utility transition and uninterrupted mission readiness for the installation.
